Spit Happens

With a newborn, spit-ups are usually pretty common place from what everyone has told me. Peyton, however, rarely spits up - I can probably count on one hand the number of times she has spit-up since she was born 4 weeks ago (yeah, 4 weeks old already - time is flying by WAY too fast...but I digress :)). Anyway, I was feeding Peyton last night and she was just eating away and from out of no where she spit-up all over herself, me, the rocking chair and yes, even the carpet! I can't believe so much could come from such a little mouth!!! Right after it happened (and after I may have said Oh my goodness fairly loudly...) Chad came into the room and helped me get her all cleaned-up - we both couldn't stop laughing! These are the fun stories that memories are made from. :)

Otherwise, not a lot is new around here. We have been pretty locked down since it has been so very cold. It is supposed to be a little warmer tomorrow I believe but the forecast I saw last night was for a high of 7 & 8 degrees for Sunday and Monday - BRRRR!
