So there is a new movie out titled Four Christmases - which to some people probably sounds like a lot, but for the Todd's, that sounds easy! We celebrated our SIX Christmases over the last couple of weeks starting with Peyton meeting Great Grandma Arthur for our first Christmas celebration. Then, last Sunday we celebrated with the Todd extended family. Christmas Eve took us to Clinton where we celebrated with Grammy & Grandpa Arthur as well as the Mintun extended family. After our Christmas celebrations in Clinton we went to church with Grammy & Grandpa where we all lit the Advent candles during the service. That night we came back to Olathe and got to wake-up and celebrate Christmas morning at our house as a family. It was great to start this family tradition even though Peyton will not remember her first Christmas at home. Later on Christmas day we then headed to Grandma & Grandpa Todd's house for our celebration with all of Chad's immediate family as well as the Sanders extended family.
Although there were a lot of events, it was so exciting for us to introduce Peyton to everyone!!! We had a WONDERFUL Christmas season and were blessed to spend so much time with our family. Peyton was also very blessed with many new fun things to wear and play with - she's such a lucky girl!!!
Here are a few pictures from all of the various family celebrations (and Peyton's many Christmas outfits! ;))
The next big event for Peyton is her baptism this Sunday!

Looks like Peyton probably didn't get enough attention/outfits during Christmas. :)
Always cool to see happy families!
We'll have to rename her "Peyton the Party Girl", ha ha. What a lucky little girl to have so many family members who love her. Moving on to the next important event in her life on Sunday - her Baptism - after all, she is our little miracle from God. There will be many, many opportunities in the months and years to come for the Arthurs and the Todds to gather for "Peyton Moments". She is so precious, and we couldn't love her any more if we tried. At times she looks exactly like Amanda did when she was a baby - then at other times, she sure looks like Chad! I guess she looks like Peyton - taking the best from her Mommy and her Daddy. Like they say, "If we knew how great having a grandchild would be, we would have had her first" - I don't know though, having Peyton's Mommy was pretty special too. Hopefully Peyton will bring as much joy to you, Amanda and Chad, as Amanda brought to and is still bringing to us. We are soooooo blessed. We love all of you so very much. See you Sunday.
