Yesterday was a very important day in Peyton's life - she was baptized at Prince of Peace Catholic Church - what a great day! Peyton's Godparents were Uncle Landen & Aunt April and all of both of our families were able to be in attendance on this very special day. Here are a couple of pictures (though I know I need to get some additional pictures from Grammy & Grandma as well!). Thanks to everyone who was there to support Peyton (and Chad & I)!

Grandpa and I could not have thought of anywhere else we would have rather been than in that beautiful church at that even more beautiful moment in the life of our precious little Peyton. From the Mass to the Baptismal Service to the family gathering for fellowship and snacks following, it was a perfect day, and we were so happy to be a part of it. Peyton looked gorgeous in the dress that her mother, Amanda, wore at her Baptism 27 years ago, while being wrapped in the crocheted throw that was used for her Grammy's and her Great-Uncle Mark's Baptisms over 50 years ago. And, her Daddy carried her new Rosary Beads which she received as a gift from Grandma and Grandpa Todd prior to the service and which were blessed at her Baptism. Peyton is definitely a beautiful child - her smile lights up the room and more importantly our hearts. She is just so cute - and perfect in every way. You can tell from the pictures she has very loving, proud parents, grandparents, uncles, aunts, cousins, etc. What a lucky little girl to have so many people who love her and support her and her parents. Can't wait until the next Peyton event! I'm sure there will be many in the years to come.
