So in one of my earlier posts I wrote about the fact that we got a new computer. We decided to step out of our box a little bit and got a MacBook instead of a Windows based laptop (sorry Scott!!!). We have had the computer for about a week but because Best Buy's Geek Squad couldn't come out to help us set it up right away, we have just been playing around with some of the basics. Last night though, our Geek Squad Double Agent (yes, this is what they call themselves) came out and helped us out.
We now have a fully secure WiFi network that will let us be online with the new laptop, our desktop, our work laptops and even print wirelessly - COOL! He also taught us all kinds of new tricks on the MacBook and transferred over the files that we needed from our old desktop. Much to our surprise, we had over 16 GB of music in iTunes - that seems like a lot to me! He even showed us how to make a movie with video clips, pictures & how to put songs behind the whole thing (now, repeating this process may prove to be more difficult when our Double Agent isn't here to support us but the concept is awesome!). Our Wii is also finally online (only a year after we got it) so we were able to go through the Nintendo store and check the weather through our Wii - technology at its best!
All-in-all, it was well worth having Geek Squad come to set everything up for us. For anyone considering getting a new computer or technology type product that is not very technology sound, I would HIGHLY recommend having Geek Squad do everything for you. Although we probably could have figured out some of what he taught us on our own, we definitely wouldn't be able to use our new computer to its full potential without his help!
Oh - and for the loyal readers always wondering about BGT, still no luck with labor starting. She continues to give us hope every once and a while to only go back to resting in her nice comfortable home for now. We can't wait to meet her!!!

LOL - It's all good that you got a Mac. I've even seen a few floating around here at work. Does strike me as interesting that you had to HIRE SOMEBODY just to set everything up. Thanks for the fun updates though! Can't wait for those baby photos!
Scott
I have no idea what most of your post was about. I understand you bought a new computer and some Geeky guy came and explained it to you, but past that, I'm lost. I'd better just stick to what I know, which isn't too much.
Grandpa thinks the baby is coming tonight - we're getting our laundry caught up and are all packed - ready to roll. We'll see - he predicted the day you were born 27 years ago Amanda - even backed the car into the garage to prepare for our 3 p.m. departure time to drive to Kansas City - St. Luke's on the Plaza.
