Checking In

Today we had an ultrasound just to check-in on BGT and make sure she is still doing ok since we are getting so close to our due date.  She is doing great!  She is definitely running out of room but is locked-in head down and face down (which means that we didn't get to see her beautiful face today but is a good thing since this is the easiest way for her to make her big journey!).  Based on her measurements, they are estimating she will be 7 lbs 4 oz +/- 14 oz - a perfectly healthy baby!  Her heart was beating strong at 138 bpm.

All-in-all, BGT seems to be in great shape!  She hasn't been moving as much recently but that is very normal since she doesn't have the room and also is trying to conserve her energy.  Hopefully she has been conserving all day (since she hasn't moved a lot and I haven't had any contractions) in order to start making some progress tonight!  Who knows, but here's to hoping!!!

Grammy and Grandpa are so anxious to meet our little granddaughter, who we know will be the sweetest little girl ever to walk on the earth. I probably won't sleep a wink tonight - not that I sleep much anyway. They kept telling me at choir practice to keep calm - right! They are going to put the birth announcement on the church website tomorrow. The blessed event is big news! We'll be meeting the little darling real soon - only a few more hours - unbelievable.
