Well, today was coming home day for Peyton and what a day it was! The pediatrician checked her out and my Dr. said I was a-okay to go home so around lunch time Daddy got Peyton all dressed in her coming home outfit (which believe it or not is Newborn size but still about swallowed her up) and we got her buckled in for her ride home. Here are a few pictures from today, including one where she got to meet Apollo. They have been doing great together and Apollo always tries to get our attention as soon as she makes the slightest whimper to make sure we take care of her! I think she has a new best friend already!
Thanks for all of the well wishes and congratulations notes on the blog as well as those that several have e-mailed to us!

Grammy and Grandpa have been missing little Peyton today - we are anxious to see her tomorrow. Her hospital pictures are great. She looks so small in her car seat - she will grow into it soon enough. We are happy that Apollo is adjusting well to his new little buddy. I tried to show Murray her picture on the computer, but he was not the least bit interested. He tried to get my attention all day while I was cross stitching her name on the top of her Christmas stocking, sitting in the recliner with me the entire time. The new parents look happy and relaxed in the pictures, and it sounds like things are going very well. Daddy is quite the fashion assistant, doing most of the dressing so far. Our camera is charged and ready for more pictures tomorrow - get ready to smile Peyton!!!! We are keeping the Walmart Photo Center in business. This grandparent business is all we had ever dreamed of and more - we are in love.
