Today was our first outing since we brought Peyton home from the hospital and it went well! Of course, this was after we realized about 2 hours before leaving that we probably needed to pack a diaper bag, get her clothes changed into a going-out outfit instead of a sleep sack, etc. Luckily, we got everything done and were out the door in plenty of time to make it to our appointment. Peyton did great at the appointment and is almost back to her birth weight at 6 lbs. 8.3 oz. They were amazed she had put some much of her weight back on and we were VERY excited! Everything checked-out and she seems to be doing great! We will go back for an appointment a week from Thursday to make sure she is still on the right track.
Over the last couple of weeks I have also been having some pain in my left foot but we were waiting to see if it would go away after Peyton was born. Unfortunately, it hasn't gone away so Dr. Curry ordered an X-ray for me and since his office is in the same building as Peyton's pediatrician we were able to kill two birds with one stone. Hopefully the X-ray results come back soon!!
All-in-all, today was a great day!
