Does a bottle really make a difference??

The simple answer is - YES!!!  So Peyton has never been a huge fan of getting her milk from a bottle but she eventually comes around to it just about every time.  And I will fully admit that I probably watch and worry too much about how much Peyton eats every day but I want to make sure she gets enough!  Usually she takes in between 7-15 ounces at school and then nurses in the morning and evening.  Well, on Wednesday, she only ate 3 ounces - in 10 HOURS!  Needless to say, I was pretty worried about her, but tried to remember it was only one day...In order to help the situation, I took a few different kinds of bottles to daycare this morning so that they could see if a different bottle would suit her fancy.  I called to check-in on her around 10 and she had already eaten 4 ounces - more than she had all day yesterday - this is a good start!  And then my phone rang around 12 - it was daycare - ought oh, things must not be going well, right?  Thank goodness, my initial thought was wrong.  Ms. Mary Ann was calling to tell me that Peyton ate 4 ounces without a second thought as soon as she woke up from her nap - YEAH!  Apparently, the Gerber Nuk bottle is the trick, at least for right now.  When we picked her up after work today, she had eaten 17 ounces - that's more than she has ever eaten in a day!!!  We're just very happy that she did better at school today and apparently had a good time playing as well.  She even talked to herself in the mirror we have on her crib and did a little flirting with little boy in her "class" while taking in some tummy time - too cute! :)  I guess I didn't have anything to worry about at all - hopefully tomorrow is just as good of a day!

And since I didn't post any pictures earlier this week, here are a couple from our visitors last weekend and of Peyton playing on her quilt in the evening.

Do you think Grandpa or Peyton was happier in that picture????? I vote for Grandpa! So glad to hear she is doing well at school and has found her favorite kind of bottle! Too funny that she enjoys "Rockin' Elmo" so much, but she sure does. We enjoyed every minute of our visit on Sunday - GG is still talking about this and that about Peyton that she observed Sunday!

Peyton looks pretty darn comfortable laying there on your dad. Totally cute!

Glad to hear about the promotion and that you are safe from the Sprint cuts!
