Weekly Happenings - 7/22 - 7/28 - UPDATED

So I forgot a couple of big things since I didn't get the pics off of Daddy's phone - oops!  0 & -1 Added! :)

-1.  Sure, why not practice golf, in the house, in Mommy's high heels!

0.  On Tuesday, Daddy took the afternoon off for a Daddy-Daughter date!  Peyton has wanted to fish at Deanna Rose but it is always so busy to do so on the weekend.  Monday was a perfect day for their visit to Deanna Rose and they had a great time!  They fished, and Peyton caught her first fish!  It hopped back into the water before Daddy got a picture but she assures me it was as big as she can stretch her arms (she really is a fisherman!).  Peyton rode the pony and Daddy even treated her to a yummy cinnamon role to wrap-up their afternoon.  Sounds like they had a GREAT time!!

1.  Reading in the bathroom has reached a whole new level for Ms. Peyton.  She will likely kill me someday for this picture but I just couldn't pass it up!

2.  On Friday evening, we went down to visit Grammy & Grandpa.  Since the weather was BEAUTIFUL, we started our Saturday morning with a photo shoot of the kids.  Grammy, Grandma Mintun, the kids & I took a field trip across the golf course and got a lot of great shots, these are just a few of my favorites.

3.  While the guys played in a tournament, the rest of us relaxed around the house after pictures.  Some may wonder why I don't play piano as much as I used to...well, sometimes it is because I don't play with 2 hands, I play with 6 hands!  I do love that they like to play along with me, though!  We also played outside a lot to enjoy the weather and Grammy helped Peyton build a fort to play in - she LOVED it and thinks it is still up.  Guess Grammy may need to re-build the fort next time the kids come to visit!

4.  Saturday evening we spent some time outside at home - check out Ms. Hollywood.

5.  On Sunday, we celebrated Garrison's 2nd birthday with an Elmo birthday party.  I made his birthday cupcakes, we had pizza, veggies, fruit, Dorothy's goldfish and "G" and "2" cookies!  Grammy & Grandpa, Grandma Mintun, Grandma & Grandpa Todd, Nana & Papa, Uncle Landen, Aunt April, Wyatt & Whitney and Uncle Clint, Aunt Christy & Morgan Clinton all came to celebrate with us!  We were so thankful for excellent weather where some could eat outside - a nice surprise for July!  Garrison was very blessed with lots of love and fun presents as well.  We had a great afternoon.  Happy Birthday Little Man!

6.  And a Happy Birthday to Garrison's birthday twin - Happy Birthday Grammy!!

We had a great time building the fort, taking pics - just having everyone home! It was beautiful weather to explore the golf course, and Amanda got some great pics with her new camera.

The birthday party for Garrison was a hit! What a cutie. Elmo would have been proud. Happy #2 to our little man! Thanks for the birthday wishes from his birthday twin, Grammy!
