Weekend with the Grandparents

We had a great weekend!  Friday night was pretty uneventful, especially since Peyton usually goes to bed around 8, she's not a party animal but that's ok - she's a good sleeper so we are very thankful!  After Peyton went to bed, Chad & I got to play a little Guitar Hero which we hadn't done for quite a while.  Chad's much better than I am but it is always a ton of fun!

On Saturday, Grammy & Grandpa came up for a visit.  Since it was an absolutely gorgeous day, Daddy & Grandpa (and a few of Daddy's friends) had a chance to play a round of golf after they visited the golf show.  Grammy & Mommy took Peyton & Apollo for a walk while the guys were at the golf show and did a little shopping during their round of golf.  We all had a great time!

Peyton is usually not a baby that spits up much at all but for some reason, Saturday must have been spit-up day on the calendar.  Rarely do we go through more than one outfit a day but on Saturday we went through 5 including her pjs!  Oh well, those days happen, it was really quite comical in the grand scheme of things!

Then on Sunday, Grandma & Grandpa Todd & Uncle Clint came-up for a visit.  We had a great time sitting around and visiting.  Peyton even got a chance to show everyone how she likes to "talk" and took a short little snooze after having a snack during their visit.

Thanks to everyone who came for a visit, we had a great weekend!!!

Grandpa and I had a fabulous time spending the day with the Todds on Saturday. With all the outfits Peyton went through that day, we were able to see her model more of her wardrobe! She is absolutely adorable in whatever she wears and with whatever she does. Her "talking" in person, with the facial expressions to go along with it, is cuter than when she talks on the phone. It is so much fun to get her to smile now, knowing she really is happy. I can't wait to spend Thursday and Friday with her this week - it should be a blast! Grammy and Peyton days will be memorable (for Grammy at least). Grandpa had a blast playing golf and attending the golf show with Chad and his buddies - such a beautiful day outside! I doubt that your Guitar Hero skills could outshine mine - ha ha! NOT.
