Happy 3 Month Birthday!!!

Wow - Peyton is 3 months old today, that just doesn't seem possible!! :) Time is going by so fast but we are having a ball!

Peyton is starting to grab onto more and more of her toys when she is playing every day, though I think she is still most fascinated by her hands! She also got back into her sleeping through the night routine last night - YEAH!!!! Hopefully whatever it was that woke her up two nights this week will be a thing of the past. She is such a happier baby in the morning when she has gotten a solid night's sleep (and Mommy & Daddy are happier too!).

This is the last day of my first full week back at work. Although it hasn't been easy leaving her, it has gone much better than I anticipated so that is good! I am very much looking forward to having a chance to spend the weekend with her and with Chad, should be a great weekend!!

Grammy is so in focus on what is going on on 156th Terrace in Olathe, I totally missed that it is the 20th and Peyton's 3 month birthday! Maybe that is why she has been so happy and easy-going today. She loves her hands, like her Mommy says. Took her own sock off earlier today. Although I know she has had a blast the past few days with her Grammy, I know she is anxious to spend some extended time with Mommy and Daddy - the look on her face when she looks at them is priceless - pure love. They are such wonderful, loving and patient parents. It warms my heart to see her with them. She has been smiling and laughing a lot today and "talking". Wish I knew what she was trying to say - probably, "I love you Grammy". That brought tears to my eyes just typing it! We have had a great three days, but things in Clinton are needing my attention - we'll have more fun next week Peyton! Can't wait to see the 3 month pictures that you are having taken on Saturday - hopefully she will be in a good mood. Thanks for letting me share in the fun - I will miss you! Happy Birthday my precious little granddaughter. Grandpa and I love you soooooo much! Love, Grammy.
