1. On Wednesday, Peyton had her first eye Dr. appointment. I couldn't get away from work right before her appointment so she got to come with me to work from lunch on. It was a treat for her since it was a pot luck day for lunch - yum! She was quite a little lady and was so polite while at my work - what a big girl!! She also did SUPER well at her eye Dr. appointment. Luckily, she doesn't need glasses (yet) but she listened and did everything the Dr. needed her to do.
2. Finally, over a month later, Mom & I had our Mother's Day shopping / day of fun! It was way late but just as fun!! We started with some shopping, had a super tasty lunch at Olive Garden and then shopped and visited some more before it was time for her to head home. It was great to spend some extra time with my Mom without interruption from our little people! :) And she even got a picture and I can't find it - I will have to add it later!
3. On Friday, Sprint had a Family Day of Fun (first we've ever had) and it was FANTASTIC!!! Luckily, Chad & I were both able to get away for most of the afternoon to have fun with the kids - and we had tons of fun with the big inflatable slide, obstacle course, huge chalkboards, face painting, a puppet show, a magic show, tattoos, playing soccer, snacks and so much more!
4. Later on Friday, we went down to Grammy & Grandpa's house for a visit and for Daddy to play in a tournament with Grandpa Saturday morning. On Saturday, I ended up having to work most of the morning so Grammy & the kids went to a park and played lots of games while the boys played golf. Peyton also asked Grammy how to crochet so she showed her a bit but she is still a little young. We had a fun, but short visit! And Daddy & Grandpa's team was just a little too good to win anything - bummer! Maybe next time!!
5. On Saturday evening we went to Peyton's friend's Isabella's 5th birthday party. We all had a great time with pizza, cake, a piñata and tons of fun games! It was a late night but the kids slept in which was a bonus! :)
6. Sunday brought another fun day - a quick trip to see Grandma & Grandpa Todd and go to Uncle Clint & Aunt Christy's housewarming party. Peyton & Garrison helped Grandpa in the garden a bit and then they had a great time playing with their cousins and were conked out on our trip back home! And Peyton's day was wrapped-up with a playdate with her friend Victoria (something she has been wanting for several weeks!). While Peyton was away, Garrison & I went to the pool while Daddy worked around the house. I think he liked having a little one on one time, too!

Peyton evidently took everything in during her eye exam because she gave me an eye exam this weekend! Too funny. She had me follow the light, look straight ahead, etc. She was a good eye doctor.
We had a great time at the playground at Artesian Park while the guys played golf and Amanda had to work. Garrison was almost to the top of the tornado slide by himself before I realized what he was doing - then he did it several more times. He's a big boy. Peyton is so good at the monkey bars. We had a good time! When they arrived at our house Friday night, they still had their face painting on from Sprint Fun Day and were so pleased with it - it was some super duper face painting!
