1. While packing for our upcoming vacation, Daddy found a praying mantis in our bedroom. Eek! Luckily, he was thinking ahead and caught it in a jar so the kids could take it to school for show & tell. Peyton was very proud and delivered our "friend" to Garrison's room for sharing when she was done. Here she is about to release him back to his "home". Luckily we have not seen him again!
2. I love that Peyton really plays with Piocano. Her latest, teaching Piocano how to juggle the soccer ball (what she had learned that week at soccer).
3. Last week at soccer, I promised Peyton we would go for snow cones as a special treat if she participated and listened well. Since she did, we enjoyed this special treat for the first time! She loved it! Garrison was more impressed with the curb...but we all had a good time!
4. Peyton had a Dr. appointment for her flu shot on Friday morning so we started our morning with a special treat - breakfast and coffee (hot chocolate) at Starbucks! Peyton is quite a Starbucks pro and loved that we got to enjoy our treats there vs. taking them home.
