1. Daddy finished up his project of stripping the wallpaper in the bathroom - he had two excellent helpers when it came time to clean-up! This seriously entertained the kids for a good 45 minutes!
2. On Friday, we treated Peyton to a special day at Disney on Ice! We had awesome seats and it was a fantastic show! Peyton was decked out with her crown and light-up princess wand at the beginning of the show, with cotton candy of course! At intermission, Daddy treated her to a snowcone in a princess mug. Wow - lots of sugar for one little girl but she had a great time, as did we! Peyton told us Belle was her favorite!
3. After the show, we enjoyed lunch at Joe's Crab Shack and then went to school so Peyton could go to her Spring party! They hunted Easter Eggs and had lots of tasty treats, including carrot cookies in oreo "dirt" that Peyton brought for the party. After Peyton's party, we joined in the fun at Garrison's party. Apparently, Garrison had already enjoyed 3 mini cupcakes before we even arrived!
4. Later on Friday we began our Easter weekend celebration by driving down to Grammy & Grandpa's. Who had already been there? None other than the Easter Bunny! The kids had a great time looking through their basket goodies! On Saturday we had fun coloring eggs, jumping on bubble wrap and working together to fix dinner. It was a rainy day so we didn't get to go outside much but had two Easter egg hunts! Peyton loved it, Garrison was more interested in dumping eggs out of buckets! Late in the afternoon we enjoyed our tasty Easter dinner with the Mintun clan. Yummy!
5. On Sunday morning, the Easter Bunny visited our house and had many fun treats for the kids. Fan favorites were the rope (aka robe) and guitar for Peyton and a sword and gardening tools for Garrison! It was great - Peyton was busy hunting eggs and hadn't seen her treats - when she turned the corner and saw her guitar, her reaction was priceless!! We took a few pictures, finished our Easter egg hunt and made it to church with plenty of time to find a seat in the sanctuary before it filled up completely! What a treat - we were even asked to bring forward the gifts during mass. The kids did GREAT and Peyton even carried the wine forward and handed it to Father all on her own - what a big girl!!
6. After mass, we changed into more comfortable clothes and headed toward Grandma & Grandpa's for our celebration with the Todd/Sanders crew. The kids tried their hand at G&G's new roller coaster - check-out the extra push Peyton gave her brother below! Next we went to Nana & Papa's for a tasty Easter lunch followed by an egg hunt outside and Easter basket fun! Garrison was mildly more interested in the egg hunt but had more fun with Wyatt than anything else. The boys kept chasing the girls - they would giggle and giggle!

The clean up picture is priceless. Funny that Peyton needed to strip down to her undershirt! Maybe you could hire them out! ha ha
Looks like a fantastic Easter - I know our celebration was awesome. So much fun and memories.
