Visitors and a trip to Sesame Street Live!

Peyton has loved her tent from pretty much the moment it came out of the box but here recently, Apollo has also taken a liking to the tent! Almost nightly he likes to go in and check it out but the other night he actually laid down - we couldn't believe it. Peyton isn't huge on sharing her tent but usually Apollo only gets in after she goes to bed, thank goodness!

A few weekends back, Evan (and his parents too!) came to visit and join us on a trip to Sesame Street Live at Sprint Center. Below is a pic of Peyton showing Evan all of her pictures from her trip to Disney - she was so excited to tell him all about it!!!

Saturday morning we headed down to the Sprint Center to see Sesame Street Live. Peyton was very excited and had been talking about it for a while when she would see the commercials. Unfortunately, as soon as the lights went down she was NOT a happy camper and we immediately had to leave. :( Eventually she told Daddy that she was scared of the dark, poor girl. We'll have to try again next time. Luckily, Evan enjoyed the show!

After the show we headed to Crown Center for lunch at Fritz's. Not a surprise that the kids loved it, especially the milkshakes!!!

Then for dinner the parents headed to Lidia's (one of the Mayberry's favorites!) and it did not disappoint. Peyton & Evan's date was chaperoned by Grammy & Papa. They had lots of fun having dinner, playing with Playdough and playing all sorts of games before heading to bed just for the parents got home.
