Snow Day!!!

Well, today didn't go quite as planned but it turned out to be a super fun day! Today was supposed to be my first day at work, and I did go into work, but...it snowed a TON overnight so we carpooled to work today. After dropping Peyton off at school I got to my new cube and found out I didn't have a computer! Kind of hard to do much anymore without a computer! Then, we got a phone call from daycare - Peyton was sick. So we packed up the car, picked up our little girl and headed home. Although she couldn't stay at school she seems to feel fine so after a 3 hour nap we decided to check-out all the snow outside (after Daddy shoveled the snow for a second time for the day and the driveway is covered again as I type!). Peyton wasn't quite sure what to think of the sled but she did try it once. She thought Mommy made a mess when I showed her how to make snow angels but in the end, swinging won out for the day! Well, that and watching Daddy slide super fast down the hill in the back yard! :) Here are a few pictures from our day -

And the snow must have energized Peyton because tonight she had ENDLESS amounts of energy! We must have played ring-around-the-rosey and spin-spin-spin to my lew (sp?) a few hundred times! She was laughing so hard that she kept falling down before it was time!
