1. On Tuesday, Peyton had "watch week" for her dance class and she did an AWESOME job with her routines and steps! She is starting to get ready for her dance recital in May and has learned so much already! And Garrison did a great job watching his sissy for an hour! Here are a few of my favorite pictures from the evening!
2. On Wednesday, Peyton came home with exciting news! Peyton was named to the Principal's Pride Squad for February for exhibiting the "kindness" virtue for her school. We were so proud of Peyton for her achievement! As a prize, she got to have lunch with her principal on Friday, what a treat!!
3. Also on Wednesday, the kids had their dentist check-ups. Daddy was swamped with work and I couldn't get away in time to pick the kids up and make it to their appointment so Grammy came up to help with some logistics! Grammy surprised the kids by picking them both up at school and meeting me at the dentist. Garrison did an AWESOME job with taking x-rays for the first time and both kids walked away with "cavity free" certificates! A successful visit!!
4. Thursday brought time for Peyton & I to get our hair done. Peyton had fun getting her hair washed in the shampoo bowl for the first time and got a super cute bob. Needless to say, she is pretty big time now!
5. Saturday brought a fun, family day with excellent weather!!! We spent a lot of the day outside playing, including a trip to the playground where the kids both found friends to play with! Apollo also found a friend! The neighbor's dog has found a path to get into our yard and now he loves to come over to play! We also got a lot of packing done for our vacation which is less than 10 days away!!! Lastly, Peyton wanted to use Mommy's big camera and wanted Apollo to be her muse. Here is one of the images she captured - a budding photographer maybe?
6. On Saturday night, we met up with Grandma & Grandpa Todd for an early birthday dinner for Grandma at Houlihan's! We had a yummy dinner and enjoyed a chance to catch-up since we will be leaving for our trip right after Grandma's birthday!
7. Sunday has been quiet around here but I will take it! I was able to run 3 miles with a friend this morning and Apollo made it out for a walk, all before 8 AM!
