The week was pretty quiet but we had a busy weekend!!
1. On Saturday morning, Grammy & Grandpa came up for a visit and we were excited to get to spend some time outside! After Grammy & Grandpa arrived, they played outside with the kids for a little while before we went to Salty Iguana for a yummy lunch! Then the big boys went off to the golf show while Grammy, the kids & I went to Costco - always an adventure! Grammy & Garrison then went to our house for books and quiet time while Peyton & I were off to a Girl Scout event (more on that later). It was a bit of a wild visit but hey, that's how we roll!
2. Saturday afternoon was Girl Scout World Thinking Day and Peyton's troop learned about and presented facts and food from Colombia! Here she is with her troop at their booth. I was really proud of how she talked to the other troops when they came around to visit their booth and how she asked questions when she went to other troops' booths. She even ran into Victoria, her BFF while there!
3. Saturday evening was the Daddy Daughter dance at Peyton's school! Peyton was smitten with her date for the night (as you can see below) and had a great time going to dinner with a few of her friends (Hailey, Isabella, Claire and Sofia) at Blue Moose beforehand! The dance was Paris themed and it sounds like they had a great evening!! Peyton's favorite may have been the balloon artist who made her an owl to bring home!
4. While Peyton & Daddy were busy dancing the night away, Garrison & I took advantage of the beautiful weather and went to the park to play! We played until dark and had a yummy Chick Fil A dinner with our friends Angie & Ethan before heading to Orange Leaf to finish off our Mother - Son night!
