1. On Wednesday this week, our newest nephew / cousin was born - Austin William! I had a meeting that night but Chad & the kids got to go to the hospital to meet the little guy! Peyton, of course, was thrilled to get to hold the baby all by herself!
2. On Friday night, I drove down to Grammy & Grandpa's to spend the night so I had a shorter drive down to the lake to visit with my girlfriends from college Saturday morning. It was nice to have some time to just visit with my Mom & Dad, something we don't do a ton of when the little people are around! It was definitely a lot quieter but a nice visit none the less!
3. On Saturday morning, I drove to the lake and met up with 6 other girls for our annual spa trip. This is the first year in 5 or more that all 7 (Amanda B., Bethany, Amy S., Amy W., Katy, Tara and me!) of us were able to make it. We started with lunch at Lil' Rizzos then we were off to the spa for some relaxation time! After running by the condo to change, we had dinner at a great Mexican restaurant and then lots of talking (and wine!) back at the condo to finish out our night. It has been a while since I have stayed up until 1 AM without feeling tired but when we only get to catch up once a year, we all have lots to talk about! This year we even had a mini Jamberry party and played a little Cards Against Humanity. Needless to say we were all a little tired in the morning for our drive home but we had a great time! Love my girls - until next time!
4. Shortly after I got home, Grandma & Grandpa stopped by for a visit. The weather was a bit windy but the kids insisted on some outside play time before they went shopping for Christmas ornaments and out for ice cream - how can you go wrong with ice cream for an afternoon snack?
5. These boys absolutely melt my heart - they are both kicked back, relaxed, watching a little Planes and spending time together!
6. Peyton was proud to take Great-Grandpa Jean Mintun's picture to school for Veterans Day where it was displayed on the wall of her hallway! She is very proud to know that Grandpa Mintun and Papa Sanders served in the military!
