1. We have started getting Blue Apron deliveries about once a month which gives us all of the ingredients to fix two meals. I love it because it gets us to try things from time to time that are out of our comfort zone without having to commit to buying a whole bottle of a random ingredient. That and it makes me feel like a "real" cook when the meal turns out looking like this! This week was a bonus - the kids liked both meals!!
2. On Friday, Peyton went on a field trip to Arrowhead where they toured the stadium and also learned about the importance of eating healthy and exercising! Here are a few pics a fellow mom was able to send to me!
3. On Friday, Grammy came up to spend the day with me! It was our (much belated) celebration of her birthday with a fun lunch out and of course a little shopping!! We had a time and even got a little PTA work done to finish off our day.
4. Friday night Peyton met her "big sis" for her dance troupe. To say she was excited is a bit of an understatement! Look at those smiles!!
5. Saturday was a busy day but a fun day!! Saturday morning, Peyton was at the high school at a cheer clinic to get ready for her upcoming cheer performance at the football game this coming Friday. She had a blast learning new cheers, a dance and spending time with her friends!
6. Meanwhile, Grammy & I spent the morning with Garrison then went to his soccer match! He didn't score as many goals this week but played really well and had a great time on the field with his teammates!! After the game we enjoyed a not so gourmet but just as fun lunch at McDonald's before Grammy had to head home.
7. Garrison continues to amaze me with his ability to play and entertain himself. He loves to build - with legos, magnet blocks, whatever he can find! I don't know why but this picture just made me smile so I had to share!

Enjoyed my mother/daughter/birthday outing with Amanda immensely - it's always fun to have a day with just the two of us, even though we missed the kiddos!!!! Even doing the PTA assignment was fun! Had fun the entire weekend with Garrison's soccer and just spending time with all 3 of my little sweethearts. Garrison does play very well by himself - and talks the whole time of course!!!! We are blessed with many family activities and memories. God is good.
