1. Tuesday was the first skate party of the year for Peyton's school and it was a BIG hit!!! Several of Peyton's friends were there - Mya, Hailey & Macy are with her in the picture below. Peyton did great skating around the wall and fell a lot less this time and didn't use a "skate helper" either! Garrison had fun skating with Mom & Dad. He did better too and only wiped out a couple of times. Overall it was a fun family night!!
2. Saturday was a super busy day but I managed to not get any pictures...the kids went to Claire's birthday party with an Olympics theme and then the family went to our friends' house, the Sizemore's, for the evening! Both were great events, especially the slide / bouncy house fun at the Sizemore's!
3. Sunday brought a beautiful day so while Daddy played golf with his friend Patrick, the kids & I spent the morning at the zoo!! Lucky for us, it was Superhero Weekend so we got to meet Spiderman and Black Widow with fairly short wait time! After the Superheros, we went to Africa to ride the Skyfari then took the tram back to the front to have a quick bite for lunch, see the penguins and the koalas. It was a pretty short visit but we had a GREAT morning!!!
4. On Sunday afternoon, Peyton's new friend, Mya, came over for a playdate! They had a blast baking brownies, making things with Rainbow Loom and playing outside. Their time went by way too fast!!
5. Monday, our bonus day on Labor Day, was a great family day! We didn't do a lot but that was a nice change of pace! :) Garrison did get out a new toy - his Hawkeye bow and arrow set. It was a big hit!!!
