1. On Tuesday, Peyton had her back to school night and got to meet her teacher for 2nd great - Mrs. White! She had a fun evening at the school seeing many of her friends, getting some new spirit wear and even had her picture taken with the CPE Wildcat!
2. Thursday was the BIG day - the 1st day of 2nd Grade!! Luckily, Peyton is ok with the obligatory 1st day pictures in multiple locations...it was so fun to take her to school on her first day!!
3. On Friday, we capped off the week with a trip up to the Legend's to meet one of Peyton's friends from 1st grade that moved away to see Pete's Dragon! Peyton & Ava picked-up as if no time had passed and had a great time at the movie! The kids really liked the movie and thought it was even better that they were out past bedtime!
4. Pretty much anytime Daddy gets down on the floor he becomes an instant jungle gym / ride giver! Luckily the kids have such a great Daddy that he gives into their many requests, even if it nearly kills his back since they are getting so big!!!
5. On Saturday afternoon we had our Neighborhood Block Party and as always it did not disappoint!! The slide was amazing, food was great and visiting / playing with all of our friends topped the night! It was a late night for all of us since they played a movie after the sun went down. I am so thankful for such a great neighborhood!!
5. Peyton started something new this week - an allowance chart! She has several responsibilities that are expected and if she checks them all off during the week she gets $5 at the end of the week! This has really helped her get into a routine and with all of her extra curricular activities this year she needs!
