2. Last Tuesday we had "watch week" at Peyton's dance studio where we got to watch her dance inside the classroom. In the fall, this went great and Peyton showed us all kinds of things that she had learned. This time, not as much...poor girl was upset the majority of the time and this picture pretty much sums up the lesson. :S We're still not 100% sure why she was upset but she wanted to play dance class later that evening so think she still likes going.

3. Peyton is my big helper in the kitchen and one night last week she made our entire dinner. I found a fun idea on Pintrest where she painted the crescent rolls with pizza sauce and then added 1/2 a cheesestick and some pepperonis - pizza roll-ups - yum!! And most importantly, Peyton was super proud of herself for fixing dinner! :)
4. Mr. Garrison has become quite mobile in the last week - he still isn't "crawling" but he can inch-worm himself around and pull his body around to get what he wants. Look out - we are not far away from having a true mover & a shaker!
5. Last weekend we headed to Grammy & Grandpas and man did we have a super fun visit! Daddy had the chance to play two round of golf with Grandpa (and I even got to join-in on the fun for one round - something I hadn't done in almost 2 years!), Peyton got to ride the Dora bike Grammy picked-up for her house and play, play, play (check-out her dress-up outfit in the pic below - I guess if one dress is pretty, 5+ is even better, right??). Grandma Mintun came over for a visit, we went to the aquatic center where Peyton was able to show Grammy how well she can swim now and Garrison had his first pool experience - shocker, he loved it! Of course we had story time and bath time as well - the kids love taking a bath at Grammy's - Peyton especially had a good time this time playing with my Cabbage Patch bath baby! I love the picture of the kids reading with Grammy below - Peyton is enjoying the story but as soon as Garrison saw the camera he started smiling ear to ear. I think Garrison may end-up being a model - as soon as that boy sees the camera come out he starts smiling! Last but not least, Uncle Mark & Aunt Mary came to town to see us on Sunday before we headed home. It was a busy couple of days but we had tons of fun!!

6. As soon as we got home on Sunday Peyton decided it would be ok to change out of her jammies as long as she could change directly into her "white dress" - why not! Daddy worked on getting all of our new car seats rotated and installed and since he was moving everything around I was able to clean-out Peyton's seat - that girl must eat a lot in her seat and must have been trying to save some for later - yuck! Anyway, Daddy took a break to play a game of catch with the kids and they loved it. This picture doesn't do their game justice, they were giggling like crazy!!

What a fun-packed week! Pictures are adorable - quite the fashion plates.
We enjoyed the weekend immensely. Peyton putting on most everything in the dress-up tub at once was a hoot - at one point she had on several necklaces and bracelets as well. She had on high heeled sandals with her footed pajamas too. She was having fun which was the main thing. She is sure having fun with Amanda's flower girl dress at home - she has definitely had it on more than Amanda ever did!
Peyton found some fun stamps in Amanda's desk and managed to "stamp" her brother's hands while Grammaw was in charge (I was upstairs working on lunch). Confirmed my thoughts at 3 and 83 are the same - not sure who was in charge (probably Peyton). Time in the pool took care of if, but it was interesting. We had such a good time spending the morning together while the parents and Grandpa played golf.
Peyton is swimming so well. Her lessons have definitely paid off. Garrison enjoyed splashing and had a good time too. Peyton went down the big slide 3 times by herself - such a brave girl.
Sunday was fun with a visit from Great Uncle Mark and Great Aunt Mary too.
Garrison does love the camera - he literally stops what he is doing to look at the camera and smile - every time! A model in the making.
Peyton still talked about dance class and loves it - must have just had a bad day.
Garrison's student of the month poster is fantastic.
Many, many family memories - priceless.
