2. This week Garrison actually turned 7 months old - how did that happen?!?!
3. What can I say, I love watching these three play together. It is hard to capture the entire moment in just one picture but Garrison & Peyton were both giggling up a storm - Daddy is a pretty funny guy and quite entertaining!
4. Friday morning, bright & early, I headed up to Des Moines with a couple of friends to visit our friend Marla who moved away a couple of years ago. We had an excellent trip, but how can you go wrong with massages, manicures, pedicures, a nice dinner and lots of time to visit with friends! Daddy held down the fort with the kiddos while I was away and I think the kids enjoyed the extra Daddy time! Peyton even got to spend all day Friday with Daddy since she wasn't feeling tops. A trip to the grocery store and the bakery were added bonuses for little Miss Peyton!
5. When I arrived home it didn't take long for Peyton to realize that Mommy had painted her toes. Right now my little girl wants to be just like Mommy (I know, this won't last forever!) so she wanted to paint her toes & fingernails the same colors I had. Although I didn't have the exact color I found one close enough and Peyton was so excited to have toes like Mommy's that she wanted a picture.
6. On Sunday, Daddy went to play golf and although the weather appeared nice outside, it was WINDY so we stayed inside (especially since Garrison is still fighting a runny nose, poor guy!). We kept ourselves very busy! Peyton insisted on putting on my flower girl dress in the morning and since we weren't going anywhere she kept it on all day! She has become quite a pro at walking up & down the stairs holding her dress so she doesn't fall. Amazingly, the dress didn't have a single spot on it after wearing it all day - still not sure how this happened! We had a picnic lunch, complete with heart-shaped sandwiches. Peyton insisted that Caroline join us for our picnic and Garrison was a hoot as he ate in his Bumbo seat. Definitely something we should do again sometime! After rest time we made rice krispy treats. My idea was to make green rice krispy treats to make some shamrocks - Peyton thought this was an OK idea but insisted that we also make some pink ones - surprise, surprise! :) We had a great day!

What great pics. Looks like Peyton has on her Queen of the Kitchen purple apron to eat her picnic lunch - quite the neat little girl to keep that white, long dress clean all day - I'm impressed. Garrison's 6 month pictures are adorable - the one of him eating in his bumbo is a hoot. Nice matching toes! Peyton and Garrison are both very smitten with their Mommy AND their Daddy - as it should be. Great family memories - priceless.
Sounds like the Iowa trip was a great girls weekend - nice picture of friends.
Peyton loves to cook - surprise, surprise that some of the rice krispy treats had to be pink - pink, pink, pink - she's a pink girl! Pinkalicious for sure!
Garrison curls his toes just like his big sister did! Too funny.
I just noticed that Caroline has Peyton's Valentine apron on - too cute. I see she still has a boo boo on her head too - that bandaid has been there for weeks! Poor Caroline.
