Lake Time!!

Two weekends ago we headed down for a visit with Grandma & Grandpa Todd at the Lake of the Ozarks. Unfortunately, it started pouring down rain only an hour after we arrived on Saturday morning but after some lunch and a nap, the weather cleared-up and we had a great time outside! Luckily, it was warm but not quite as hot/humid as it had been so we were able to enjoy the outdoors. Peyton enjoyed a couple of jet ski rides (and by Sunday morning she really was excited to ride "Daddy's boat"), swinging in the hammock, exploring the dock and of course, one of her all time favorites, throwing rocks! Saturday night we headed to Coconuts for dinner and luckily Grandma & Peyton were able to find a playset at the restaurant since it took quite some time for our waitress to come and take our order - ah, the speed of the lake is much slower than most other places! ;) Sunday morning after a tasty breakfast (where Peyton again reminded EVERYONE who would listen that she does NOT like eggs!) and one more ride on the jet ski we packed up and headed toward home - we had a great time!!
