Where does the time go??

That is the question!  I can't believe that Peyton is over 6 months old now and she is changing so much every day!

Let's see, what's been going on...On Monday, Chad & I celebrated our 7 year anniversary - did I ask the question where has the time gone??  7 years has gone by so incredibly fast - I can't wait for the many more years to come.  Chad surprised me with a delicious dinner out on Saturday for our anniversary - Pierponts, YUMMY!!!  Thanks Grandma & Grandpa Todd for coming up to watch Peyton for our night out!

On Sunday, while Daddy was playing golf, Peyton, Apollo & I took a very long walk on a beautiful day outside.  We also ventured on our first trip to the pool.  Peyton only lasted about 10-15 minutes but it was fun to take her for the first time!  Of course, she looked ADORABLE in her swimsuit and hat but wasn't a huge fan of all the big kids running around using their squirt guns and splashing in the baby pool.  I'm sure she will be a big fan of the pool in no time, just need a little time to adjust.  She will get lots of practice at daycare - we just found out mid-week this week that every Friday is Swim Day at the pool!  I can't wait to see the pictures from their swim parties!!!

Peyton is also becoming quite the little thief from what we are being told - ought oh!!!  Apparently while sitting at the table at school she likes to go after the other kiddos' puffs! :P  We tried to give her some puffs at home last night and tonight but she is NOT interested in them at home.  Guess it is just more fun to steal from others!  I'm sure once she gets used to the texture she'll be a fan of the puffs.  Hopefully we can get her to eat her own! ;)

As you can see from the previous post we also took our family pictures and Peyton's 6 month pictures over the weekend.  She was quite a ham for the camera (well, either that or just liked to laugh at Mommy & Daddy making fools of themselves for a smile) and we got a lot of good pictures.  I just love her little dimples - too cute! :)

This week Chad & I also got to meet-up for lunch.  Meeting for a quick walk or lunch are the things that I miss most since leaving Sprint so it was nice to be able to get together for a little bit in the middle of the day!

It feels like more has been going on but I can't quite put my finger on what that may be.  Guess I need to be better about updating the blog real time!!
