1. On Thursday, Peyton's Girl Scout troop had their year-end celebration which was a trip to the Young Chef's Academy! They had an amazing time cooking their own dinner, including pasta, salad and dessert! What a great way to end a great year of Girl Scouts!!
2. Friday brought a last for our family - our last Muffins with Mom at the kids' daycare! Luckily, Peyton was able to join Garrison & I for some yummy muffins before their school days!
3. Also on Friday, my Mom came to spend the day with me to celebrate Mother's Day! We had a great day shopping, having lunch at Olive Garden and just having a chance to spend time together, which was the best part!
4. Saturday brought a busy day with t-ball practice for Garrison, a birthday party for Peyton to attend, a MBA graduation party for Chad & I to attend and a trip to Grammy & Grandpa's for Garrison! Whew! Peyton had a blast at the birthday party sleepover for her friend Isabella, Garrison had a surprise when he got to play on the blow-up slide at Grammy & Grandpa's square and we enjoyed having time to visit with friends way too late into the night!
5. Sunday was Mother's Day and we had a great day! Peyton & Garrison (with lots of great help from Chad) made the day very special for me! We started our day with brunch at Gaslight Grill, which was fantastic, and then we changed and packed the car to go to the zoo. It was a bit of a crazy day at the zoo but we enjoyed several of the exhibits and spending time together before heading home for a relaxing evening at home! Pretty much a perfect day! Check out Garrison in the last picture - he likes to climb the fence to say hello to the neighbors!
