1. Since we had been away for several days (and one day longer than we were supposed to be!), we treated the kids to Orange Leaf after dance class on Monday. They were of course thrilled, especially since we normally save ice cream treats for the weekend!
2. Garrison was VERY serious about his new Lego magazine one morning before school - even Superman has to shop from time to time!
3. On Friday, Peyton had a sleepover with her friend Victoria so Garrison was an only child for the night. Since we are (near) done with updating his room we took a shopping trip to Ikea to pick out a new desk for his room! Garrison was a thorough shopper and took his time to make sure he picked out just the right one! After we took a break for dinner he was ready to make his choice, got his cart and we loaded up his new desk. Loved watching him push the cart in the huge warehouse - he was a proud little man!
4. On Saturday Daddy played a round of golf so the kids and I took advantage of the amazing January weather we were having with a trip to the school playground with several of our friends. We had a great afternoon!
5. After Daddy got home, he and Peyton worked on a few things around the house while Garrison & I took Apollo for a walk (or Apollo walked Garrison, not entirely sure!).
