1. Peyton & Garrison had a playdate with their friends Evan & Zack on Sunday afternoon. They had a great time! Chad held down the fort while I had to be away at a work conference and helped the kids get packed and ready for our upcoming vacation!!
2. My leadership conference for work was in Raleigh, NC. It was a whirlwind couple of days but I learned a lot and had a lot of fun too. Here are a few pictures from the conference.
This was the view on my run Monday morning - it was early, humid and hilly - but the scenery made it all worth it!!
We got to participate in the Duke Basketball Experience and it was great! Several of the Duke assistant basketball coaches taught us about the program's history and how they have created so many winning teams. All of the coaches were former players and they were inspirational.
Here are a few pics from the party on Monday night - it was an 80's theme! And yes, I ended up on the stage during the last song. It was fun (albeit a bit embarrassing) but if nothing else made the trip a bit more memorable...
