Lots of iPhone pictures this week so not the best quality but definitely helped capture our week!
1. Peyton insisted on fixing her own hair on Wednesday - she will hate me for this picture some day but I was so proud of her!
2. Peyton's class is planning an indoor garden and one day they were asked to make a list of supplies they would need. They were supposed to sound out the words and write them to the best of their ability. Her list included, "wood, sun, watr & tomtos." I was quite proud of her! She also wrote her friend Victoria's birthday card today by sounding everything out!
3. On Saturday morning, Grammy & Grandpa came up for a visit! We played games, visited and even enjoyed lunch at Jack Stack! It was a quick visit but a fun one. Grammy & Grandpa too Apollo home for a Clinton vacation for a few weeks. The kids both really miss him this time and mention a few times each day that he is at Grammy & Grandpa's!
4. While Garrison was napping, Peyton & I played outside a bit. Yep, that's my daughter...swinging in my flower girl dress (circa early 1980s), coat and rain boots. Sure, why not!
5. When Garrison woke up from his nap, Daddy noticed he was making "bathroom noises." Daddy moved quickly and got him to the bathroom and he pooped on the potty!! We are SO proud of him!! We of course praised him and gave him a sticker (Mickey). He was very excited. Of course, we haven't repeated this success but a step in the right direction!
6. The kids were looking extra cute for church today - they really do love each other!!
7. And since it was SO nice, we went for a walk after church. It was gorgeous! Check-out Garrison's LONG hair after he jumped and landed.
8. Peyton had a birthday party this afternoon, Princess party of course! Peyton dressed as Elysa. But even a princess can be a superhero too!
9. Peyton's best friend turned 5 and had a party this afternoon. Snow White even came to celebrate with the girls. They had a great time!!
10. And after the party, we went and got hair cuts for the kids. This time, Garrison sat in the chair all by himself - what a big boy!!! He is still sporting longer hair but it is much more cleaned-up! Since they both did so great with getting their hair cut, we enjoyed a tasty dinner out at Chipotle! Yummy!!!

Such adorable pictures this week!!! Peyton's hairdo is interesting, and G's jumping hair is a hoot.
We had a great time Saturday during our visit. Both kids jumping up and Dow with excitement at the front door when we arrived warmed our hearts. Games, lunch, watching Ps gymnastics floor dance, a tasty lunch - ahhhh a blast.
Apollo is enjoying his vacation in Clinton. He and I went for. Walk this morning at 4:30 am. Not much traffic at that time of day. He's a good boy, and we love having him here.
Gotta love the 1984 flower girl dress with the rain boots! Unbelievable that the dress hung in the closet for almost 28 years untouched and is now been a dress up favorite of Peyton's for over 2 years now. I've fixed rips twice, let the sleeve cuffs out ( too tight) and removed several chocolate stains. It has been through the ringer. I think it is great. I wish I had been more relaxed when Amanda was a child. Oh well - getting a second chance as a Grammy!
What a big boy- congrats to G for potty time and sitting in the car to get his hair cut. He's growing up too too fast.
The pre-church pic is so sweet. Priceless memories.
