1. Saturday was the start of Peyton's birthday - the big #4! Her party didn't start until 2:30 but she was ready by 9 for all of her friends and her special guest, Princess Belle, to arrive! Peyton & her friends started the party off right with a foam sticker craft followed by lots of pictures with a special Princess background and fancy frame! They loved it! Then, the fun really got started - Princess Belle arrived! The girls were all in awe when she arrived and had a great time trying to pass the "tests"to prove themselves worthy of opening the treasure chest! They used magic to pop bubbles, played a few games and danced to their hearts' content. Next, it was time for cake! I made Peyton a Princess Belle cake and she LOVED it! We all sang Happy Birthday, she blew out her own candles this year and then they all dug in. We were so happy to have so many friends & their parents come to Peyton's party - it was great to see everyone! This year, Kylie, Isabel, Lizzy, Kate, Sophie, Victoria, Audri & Paige joined in on the fun - what a great start for Peyton's birthday celebrations!
2. On Sunday after church, Peyton & Daddy went on a date to see Wreck-it Ralph at the theater. I hear that Peyton did a great job of staying quiet and sitting still through the whole movie and really seemed to like it, though Daddy says she may have enjoyed the Twizzlers & Icee the most! They both had a great time and I think Peyton is ready to go again!
3. For Peyton's last big event for the weekend we went up to the mall for her birthday surprise from Mommy & Daddy - Peyton made her first visit to Build a Bear and loved it! She is a very decisive little girl - she grabbed the bear she wanted almost immediately and even though we showed her several other options she stuck to her guns. She helped stuff her bear, chose her bear's heart and gave her a name - Cinderella! After we found the perfect dress & shoes it was time to bring her home. Cinderella even had to go to dinner with us!
4. After our bear was built, we did a drive-by of Santa at the mall but Peyton still wasn't hip on sitting on his lap. Even though she didn't want to talk to him she was excited to see the big guy in red!

All the little princesses look so cute - and the "real" Belle is very pretty. I'm sure they had a great time with the party. Miss Peyton looks very happy with her cake. Glad she finally wore her birthday hat! The Belle cake is absolutely gorgeous - way to go Mommy! You went to a lot of work to make her party very special for her. You are both great parents. Movie with Daddy sounds like fun.
The build a bear outing was a great idea. She looks like she is taking it all in.
Can't wait to hear all about her big weekend - I'm sure she will have fun telling us about it. We love her, and her brother, so much.
Wonderful family memories. We are blessed.
Kylie looks so grown up in the picture - and Isabel has grown up quite a bit since you left the "hood". ha ha Princess Peyton Belle is so beautiful - her smile warms my heart - always. Grammy love!
