This week was pretty uneventful but we did manage to squeeze in some fun!
1. On Friday, I was able to sneak out of work a little early and picked-up the kids from school early to head down to visit Grammy & Grandpa! Daddy expected to have to work most of the weekend so we decided to go for a visit. We had a yummy dinner when we arrived and lots of fun playing games like Headbandz and Crazy 8's that night. Saturday morning started a little slow which was great! Everyone had fun playing and enjoying breakfast with their cartoons. And then it started to snow, much earlier than we had expected. Grammy & I went out to get gas and check the roads and I decided I better go ahead and head home since the storm was only supposed to get worse. We were a little disappointed our visit didn't last as long as we had planned but it was still fun!
2. When we got home, we already had an inch or so but it kept snowing! Around 5, the kids & I went outside to shovel the first layer from the storm. Peyton had more fun coloring the snow with colored water. Garrison LOVED getting to use his Spiderman shovel to "scoop the snow" - something he had been waiting to do since Christmas!! They were great helpers and I was lucky the snow was super light!
3. On Sunday, we woke up to even more snow. Since it didn't make sense to go out a lot given the roads weren't in the best condition, Peyton asked to have Isabella over for a playdate! They had fun playing, making snow ice cream (and eating it out of homemade chocolate bowls) and walking Isabella home after lunch. Luckily Daddy was home on Sunday so he got to have some fun shoveling too - hey, we'd hate for anyone to miss out! :)
4. Garrison absolutely loves taking things to school for show and tell. One day this week he decided to take his EOS lip balm. He put some on in the car on the way to school and then says, "Mommy, I have to put this on so I look good for the ladies." Where do they come up with this stuff??
I'm sure there was more but that's about all I can come up with today! Until next time!

We had a great visit, although MUCH too short. Better safe when slick roads are involved. :(.
Glad you got the chocolate balloon bowls made - Peyton realy likes to make them - and eat them!
That Garrison - he's a little charmer - and knows how and when to turn it on!
We are blessed.
