Weekly Happenings - 11/26 - 12/2

1.  We had a pretty quiet week and one night I caught two of my favorite people relaxing together - love this picture!!

2.  Again this year we have a "Christmas Bucket List" or a family activity for each day of Advent.  We started on Saturday with the building of our Gingerbread house.  Peyton loved the activity even more this year and was insistent that she do all of the work herself - what a big girl!

3.  We had a very busy Saturday but it was a great day!  We enjoyed a family breakfast at Peyton's choice - First Watch, hung Christmas lights (something Peyton has been requesting for over a week!), and we went to the pool to swim & practice snorkeling.  Here is a pic of our great lights (even though I couldn't get my camera to focus...) - Daddy did a great job and Peyton is thrilled!

4.  Sunday was Grandpa Todd's Birthday so we celebrated with him at Red Lobster - the waitress lead us in singing of Happy Birthday to Harry (instead of Harold - the kids thought this was hilarious!).

5.  On Sunday we also took our annual pictures with the Todd cousins.  Here are just a few of my favorites!

6.  We took family pictures a few weeks ago and I keep forgetting to post some of them on here.  Love how these turned out!

Pictures are great - all of them! Peyton's hair pulled back looks cute. Christmas lights on the house look fabulous. I knew Peyton has been wanting them so badly - she loved riding around in Clinton after the parade looking at the beautiful Christmas lights. Your family activities plan is such a great idea. How did the gingerbread house turn out? Happy Birthday to Harry - too funny!

Forgot to comment on how adorable the picture of Chad and Peyton is - look at those little feet and how she has her hands under her head. So special that she loves her Daddy so much!

Also, Peyton is so into doing everything herself - I'm sure she enjoyed making the house.
