I think we may have just gotten over the worst stomach bug so far with Peyton - what a mess! A week ago Sunday she started not feeling well and didn't end up getting to go to school until Friday of that week - almost missing an entire week! Two of her teachers and several of her classmates all came down with the bug - hopefully we are done with the winter illnesses!!! Here's Peyton on Sunday evening - she seemed to be feeling better and wanted her picture taken with her backpack - sometimes she loves having her picture taken and others she doesn't but I can almost always get her to take a pic if I promise to show it to her right away!
And then on Monday she was back down for the count. She fell asleep while watching a movie at 11:00 which is really early for her!
On Tuesday we thought she was recovering so Grammy & Grandma Mintun came up to stay with Peyton as Daddy & Mommy had to go back to work. They had a great day with no symptoms of illness so they worked on Peyton's Easter Egg Hunting skills!
This girl doesn't look sick, does she?! Nope, but about an hour after this picture was taken she was back down for the count again!
So Wednesday Daddy & Mommy split the day staying at home with our little angel. At the end of the day she was gaining some energy again and wanted to go with Daddy & Apollo to check the mail - in her PJs & snow boots!
Thursday she still couldn't go back to school as she had been sick on Wednesday but Grammy & Grandma Mintun returned to spend the day with her. Luckily, on Thursday, she didn't relapse again and was able to return to school. She was so excited to see her friends and teachers who were all back on Friday!!!

Sorry Peyton was sick, but Grandma Mintun and I were sure happy to get to spend two full days with Peyton - I think Apollo enjoyed Murray coming along. We had a blast - we were the lucky ones, as both days were relatively free of symptoms. I think Mommy and Daddy had the worse days.
