Happy Valentine's Day!!!

Friday was Peyton's first school Valentine's party! Grammy & Grandpa came up to help me out with some things around the house (thank you!) so Grammy joined me at Peyton's school for the party. When we first got there Peyton was very excited to see us! The first event was for Peyton and her classmates to dance to the Dinosaur song - CUTE! They also played the pick-up the hearts game and then it was time for snack. They had fresh fruit parfaits and Peyton loved it since they included blueberries & strawberries - always fan favorites!

Then since Grammy & Grandpa were in town we invited the Mayberry's out to dinner. Peyton & Evan had a "double date" with Grammy & Grandpa while us parents had an AWESOME dinner at Trezo Vino - yum! It was so nice to have a romantic night out.

Grammy reading to Peyton & Evan before bedtime - notice Evan clinging on to Peyton's Valentine's balloon for dear life- hilarious!

And this was a picture from a few weekends ago but it is super cute so I wanted to include here -

I had a great time at Peyton's school Valentine party - 10 little ones from 12-24 months are a hoot -add in singing and dancing and making/eating fruit parfaits, and it was quite entertaining. Peyton seemed to enjoy having her Mommy and Grammy there - of course, no more than WE enjoyed BEING there!

Grandpa and I had a blast chaperoning the Valentine date of Peyton and Evan - once again, I'm pretty sure we had just as good of a time as the kids did. They are both such good babies, especially at bed time.

Breakfast at First Watch on Saturday morning was fun - especially helping Peyton to learn to suck from a straw. As soon as I told her to suck like she did on her pacifier, she had it! I think it still startled her a little bit to suddenly have a mouthful of juice, but she liked it!

We also enjoyed visiting with Chad, Amanda, Kip and Marla after he "big people" returned from their date night - the Mayberrys will be missed after they move to Iowa - it has been our pleasure to get to know this special family.

We had a wonderful 24 hours in Olathe - we are blessed! Thanks for the memories. Can't wait to make more!
