Peyton had her first play date yesteray, though I think it was much more for the Moms than for the kiddos this time! I met-up with my friends Jessi & Melissa for lunch (thanks Melissa for hosting) and we had a great visit. Melissa's little boy Alex was napping when we got there and Jessi's little girl Ayn went down for a nap after her lunch; however, Peyton chose to only cat nap yesterday because she wanted take everything in! We had a great time and hope to do it again a few times before I have to go back to work.
Peyton is also starting to interact with us more and more. On Sunday, Peyton started repeating sounds now and then with Chad - I missed it the first couple of times as I was at the gym but saw it later in the day and even experienced it myself - it was GREAT! She is also smiling more and more and really making eye contact with us. She is so fun!
Here is a pic of her after her play date yesterday - can't you tell she had a fun time!

Simply adorable - so precious. Grandpa and I can't wait to witness those new skills tomorrow for ourselves. Everyone at work kept asking today if you were still coming tomorrow - you would think rock stars were going to invade the welfare office! It makes me proud that they are so anxious to meet Peyton - warms my heart. Grandma Mintun is very anxious to get her hands on Peyton again too. Grandpa says people at the bank are looking forward to meeting Peyton as well. Only about 15 hours or so to wait! It's amazing that one little bitty girl can be so popular.
